Frequently Asked Questions

Commercial use

Can I use generated images and videos commercially?

Yes, subject to the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Images and videos generated on a paid plan may be used for commercial purposes including advertising, product listings, social media, and client work.

Free plan outputs are subject to the same content policies but may carry additional restrictions on commercial redistribution — check the current Terms of Service for the latest details.

Do I own the outputs I generate?

You retain the rights to the outputs you generate with your prompts, to the extent permitted by the underlying AI model licenses (Replicate and OpenRouter). FlowPic.ai does not claim ownership of your outputs. We do not use your generated content for model training.

Can I use outputs for client work or sell them?

Yes. Outputs generated on a paid plan can be used for client deliverables. You are responsible for ensuring the output does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. FlowPic.ai is not responsible for outputs that resemble existing copyrighted works.

Content policy

What content is not allowed?

FlowPic.ai does not permit generation of:

  • NSFW, sexually explicit, or adult content of any kind
  • Violence, gore, or content that glorifies harm
  • Content that targets, demeans, or harasses individuals based on protected characteristics
  • Deepfakes or realistic synthetic media impersonating real, identifiable people without consent
  • Content that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Prompts that trigger these categories are blocked at the input level. Generation requests that pass the input filter but return safety-flagged outputs from the AI provider are not charged credits.

Why was my prompt blocked?

Our input filter checks for sensitive keywords and patterns before sending any request to the AI provider. If your prompt is blocked, the message will state that it contains metadata that violates community safety guidelines. Rephrase the prompt to remove the flagged content and try again.

What happens if the AI provider flags my generation?

If Replicate or OpenRouter returns a safety refusal or an empty output, the generation is marked as failed and credits are automatically returned to your balance.

Account and billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to flowpic.ai/settings/billing and click Cancel Subscription. You can also manage your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from the billing page. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are made after cancellation.

Will I be charged again after cancelling?

No. Cancellation stops all future charges immediately. You retain access to your plan features until the period ends.

Can I get a refund?

See the Refund Policy for the full details. In summary: if you have not used any credits in the current billing period, you may be eligible for a refund within the stated window. Credits that have been consumed are not refundable.

What payment methods are accepted?

FlowPic.ai accepts major credit and debit cards via Stripe (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. PayPal is also available as an alternative checkout option. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — FlowPic.ai does not store card details.

My payment failed — what do I do?

Check that your card details are up to date at flowpic.ai/settings/billing. If the issue persists, contact support@flowpic.ai with your account email and we will investigate.

Privacy and data

Is my data used to train AI models?

Where is my generation history stored?

Your Studio Library (generation history) is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. It is not uploaded to our servers. You can clear it at any time from the Studio settings.

Technical

What AI models does FlowPic.ai use?

FlowPic.ai routes generation requests through Replicate and OpenRouter depending on the selected mode and quality tier. The specific model used for each generation type (image standard, image premium, video standard, video premium) can be configured by the workspace admin. Default models include best-in-class options from each provider.

Why does generation sometimes take longer than expected?

AI generation time depends on the model, output resolution, video duration, and current provider load. Typical wait times are 10–15 seconds for images and 15–30 seconds for video. During peak periods, provider queues can extend this. A progress indicator shows the estimated remaining time during generation.

What image output formats and resolutions are supported?

Generated images are delivered as high-resolution PNG or JPEG files depending on the model. Standard aspect ratios supported include 1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16, and 2:3.
