Getting Started with FlowPic.ai
Complete your first AI generation in five minutes. Learn how to pick a formula, write a prompt, choose a visual style, review the credit cost, and generate.
Getting Started
FlowPic.ai is built around a five-step loop that takes you from a blank idea to a usable commercial visual. Here is how it works.
Step 1 — Pick a formula
Open FlowPic.ai Studio and browse the 48 commercial formulas in the left panel.
Formulas are organized by goal:
- Ecommerce — product hero, ecommerce conversion, luxury editorial, food & beverage
- Paid social — social ad hook, UGC ad, problem/solution, testimonial proof
- Video — video opening hook, image-to-video motion, storyboard sequence
- Content — YouTube thumbnail, viral meme, carousel education, influencer lifestyle
- Brand — brand identity, minimal editorial, color psychology, typography poster
- Character — character IP, virtual influencer, expression sheet
Each formula pre-loads a recommended prompt structure, output ratio, and visual style direction. You can keep the defaults or override any of them.
Step 2 — Write your prompt
The prompt field supports up to 8,000 characters. A character counter is shown below the input.
Good commercial prompts follow this pattern:
[Subject] + [Scene or context] + [Lighting or mood] + [Style note]Example — product photo:
White ceramic mug on a light oak desk, soft morning window light, minimal Nordic styling, luxury editorial feel
Example — video hook:
Person unboxing a skincare product, authentic handheld smartphone feel, warm living room background, TikTok UGC style
If you are not sure where to start, click any of the 400 inspiration prompts in the Explore panel — they load directly into the input field.
Step 3 — Choose a visual style
FlowPic has 216 visual styles across four engines. The style sets the physical look of the output — camera, lighting, color grading, and texture.
Auto Detect is selected by default. It lets the AI infer the best style from your prompt. You can override this at any time.
To pick manually, click the Styles panel and filter by engine:
| Engine | Best for |
|---|---|
| Cinematic | Product photos, editorial portraits, food, real estate |
| Graphic | Posters, infographics, flat design, social cards |
| Metaphor | Character IP, surrealist concepts, game art |
| Narrative | Storyboards, video seeds, cinematic sequences |
Step 4 — Review the credit cost
The Generate button shows the exact credit cost before you click. The number updates in real time as you change:
- Output count (1 to 4 images)
- Image mode (text-to-image vs image-to-image)
- Video duration (4s, 8s, 15s, 30s)
- Quality tier (Standard vs Premium)
If your balance is too low, the button shows the shortfall and links to the pricing page. No credits are charged until you confirm.
Step 5 — Generate and save
Click Generate. A progress indicator counts down the estimated wait time (roughly 12 seconds for images, 20 seconds for video).
When the result appears:
- Download saves the file to your device
- Save to Library adds it to your Studio Library for later access
- Share generates a link with your referral ID and a dynamic preview card
- Re-roll generates a new variation with the same parameters
- Send to Video (image mode only) loads the image as the first frame for image-to-video generation
Your last 50 generations are stored in the Studio Library. You can restore any of them — including the full prompt, style, ratio, and formula — with one click.
